I stumbled across your blog and have to say I&#039;m very impressed with the information here. 

I used to be one of &quot;those people&quot; - who created fancy, ridiculously overdone charts with 3d bevels, shadows, gradient backgrounds....ack. I hate to think about it now. 

Now I chuck out almost everything on my charts - grid lines, pointless axes, etc... mostly using basic tables or sparkline type charts for my excel analytics dashboard.  

It&#039;s made life much easier for me and my clients when looking at the data.
